Chief Set to Release New Mini RPA Elite® and Mini RPA® Series Projector Mounts
Posted on Tuesday, June 9, 2009

The new mini mounts are easy to install and almost half the size of the original RPA mounts, perfect for smaller projectors.

Minneapolis, MN. USA (June 2009) - www.chiefmfg.com - Chief Manufacturing, the industry leader in projector, monitor and flat panel TV mounting solutions, is excited to announce a new line of mini projector mounts available late summer 2009.

Chief's new Mini RPA Elite (RSMA) is a miniature version of the popular RPA Elite (RPM) projector mount, perfect for today's smaller projectors. The mini mount features a newly designed universal projector interface bracket with convenient lamp and filter access, providing even faster installation and servicing of the projector. At almost half the size of the original Elite mount, the new mini mount includes the same great features, including micro-adjustments for precise registration, Centris® fingertip positioning, and Q-Lock™ keyed locking. The Mini RPA Elite™ maintains registration when disconnected, has integrated cable management and supports up to 25 lbs.

Chief will also offer a Mini RPA (RSA) projector mount, which is a miniature version of the industry-standard RPA Series. The Mini RPA also includes the new universal interface bracket, and features independent roll, pitch and yaw as well as quick projector connect/disconnect. The mount supports up to 25 lbs.

About the new Universal Interface
Chief's new universal interface provides quick installation in three easy steps, and requires only 35% of the hardware vs. other universal designs. The bracket provides an industry-first quick disconnect at two sites, disconnecting the bracket from the ceiling mount, and the bracket from the projector to allow unlimited lamp and filter access.

While custom interfaces are the preferred option when the projector model is known, Chief's new universal interface together with the RPA or RPA Elite mounts combines the fast installation and lamp and filter access of custom mounts with the traditional benefits of universal mounts.
